Amigurumi Book: Cute Dogs

Awesome Japanese Craft always seems to amaze me, and while I was searching online for crochet, i found Amigurumi which means "going around in circles" with crochet in Japanese. So I went to the quite well known Japanese book store in the CBD to pick up a book, here's what I found:

It's called 'Ami Ami Dogs' by an author I do not know (her name is in Japanese)

It was entirely in Japanese, so I had to think twice about buying it, but the diagrams are quite good quality and the patterns are amazing! It seems quite worth it, even more inspiration.

When I started Amigurumi, the needle I had lying around was 4.0mm. I just used some 8ply wool. Fantastically it's a better idea to start out with a larger needle, I think since you can make the stitches bigger. Then you can use other hooks!
